Bradley Dean Birkedahl was born and raised in Tacoma Washington where he began taking guitar lessons

at the age of 12.  In the mid- 90's and fresh out of high school,  the birthplace of rock and roll came calling.

In 1998 Brad relocated to Memphis, Tennessee with his band The Demspeys.  When the rockabilly trio wasn't playing on historic Beale Street they were traveling around the world and sharing the stage with musical legends such as Carl Perkins, Wanda Jackson, James Burton, The TCB Band, Gunnar and Matthew Nelson,  Billy Lee Riley, The Stray Cats, Paul Burlison, Malcolm Yelvington and DJ Fontana. The group was also chosen to perform for visiting presidents and a host of dignitaries.

Brad began his solo career in 2010.  He continues to  travel the world and perform regularly on Beale Street.  In 2015 he and his former bandmates were honored with a brass note on Beale.

Brad  played the role of Scotty Moore in the highly acclaimed film "Walk the Line", the Johnny  Cash biopic starring oscar-winners Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Pheonix.
